The Venue
Oakea Mansion is a Historical Marker in Winnsboro, with fantastic architecture and beautiful, elegant period furnishings that are the perfect backdrop not only for the bridal Show but also for an elegant Wedding!
The house was built in 1903 by prominent Businessman Marcus Carlock. The home's style is neoclassical, with massive columns adorning the two-story structure. The furnishings are victorian antiques that add to its classical beauty. Each room is unique in its style while sticking to the Victorian theme.
The grounds are a manicured paradise with a koi pond, gazebos, and breathtaking views. The Mansion is also available for booking weddings. You can even book the entire Mansion for friends and family to stay for the event. Come to the bridal Show and explore the Mansion; you will love it for your perfect wedding backdrop. Some of the outdoor amenities:
A Koi pond, a Goldfish pond with a bridge, a Wedding archway, a pergola, a fountain with a round-lit dance floor, and 2 acres of gardens.
The Show
This Show is to help brides in Northeast Texas to find and connect with the talent they will need for the big Day. There is no need to fight the traffic and crowd in the Big city when there are so many talented wedding vendors in your backyard.
Each vendor will have their place in the Mansion or on the grounds to showcase what they do and help you to make informed decisions for your wedding Day. This Day will be about YOU, the bride, and what you want. Some prizes will also be given out.
