One of our favorite late-summer traditions here at Oaklea Mansion is walking just a few blocks down the street to the Winnsboro Center for the Arts for their much-anticipated Annual Women in the Arts Exhibit. This inspiring showcase is a true celebration of the creative spirit and a beautiful tribute to the talented women artists of East Texas.

This year’s exhibit opens Wednesday, July 24th, and will run through Friday, September 20th, giving you plenty of time to stop in, slow down, and soak up some truly remarkable artwork.

Whether you're an art collector, a casual admirer, or just someone who appreciates a good story told through brush, texture, and form, you'll find something here that speaks to you.

From delicate pastels and detailed pencil drawings to bold oil paintings, expressive mixed media, and striking 3D sculptures, this exhibit showcases a diverse range of mediums, techniques, and voices.
